Hang a horseshoe “U” facing upwards above a doorway or window to invite good luck and prosperity to your home.

My father always taught me to never hang a horseshoe straight up and down so it looked like a perfect “U”. Instead, to angle it slightly so that the opening was at eleven o’ clock, that way, some of the goodness and prosperity would fall out onto anyone who entered the area. That way you could share the goodness, not just keep it all.

I’ve always really liked that idea.
