nope. can you believe how much sherlock respects john and loathes himself. He thinks John makes him better. He thinks John sees him as a better man than he really is and he uses john’s eyes to see himself because he matters so little in his own eyes, he feels so useless and weak in his own eyes, that he has to see himself from the perspective of this man who inexplicably loves him and puts up with him
