as she raked through his hair, he smiled even more goofily at the female. the way her hands moved through his hair and then to his cheek, he couldn’t help but lean into her touch. “of course, my dear.” he chuckled. he expected it to be more than just that, but he couldn’t help but smile widely. he tilted his head into her hand, sighing. “of course i’m not. i could never be mad at you.” he breathed, leaning up and kissing her cheek. he pressed his hand over hers softly before grinning. “plus, i worry too much, my dear. that isn’t your fault.” he chuckled, cupping her cheeks softly. “shall we go to bed?” he said, scrunching up his nose a little.

she chuckled as his smile became even greater. she absolutely adored the way he smiled at her and it was probably her greatest weakness. stroking his cheek with her thumb a few more times, she leaned forward and pressed her lips to his in a quick peck. “really, never?” she giggled in a teasing manner. nat was slightly buzzed and she wasn’t in the mood for anything besides cuddling and sleeping, in that order. “i cause you to worry so in a way, it is...” she mumbled before letting out a little huff of air. nodding her head, she proceeded to plant a soft kiss on his nose before she replied, “yes we shall, my love.”

theo had dosed off so he hadn’t even realized when the girl had gotten out of the shower. he was tired, and that was evident just by how fast he fell asleep. then again the male would be by nat’s side regardless of how tired he was. but feeling the female’s fingers through his hair and then her voice, he opened his eyes carefully, rubbing at them. “what’s up, nat?” he said with a sleepy smile, looking at her. he slowly got up, or at least sat up in a better position, getting a better look at her, his smile widening a little. 

her fingers raked all the way through his hair, then she playfully trailed her hand down the back of his neck and finally rested it against his cheek. his sleepy smile made her heart melt and when it got even bigger, she knew her heart was nothing but a mere puddle by then. she couldn’t hold back the smile that grew on her face as her hand lightly caressed his cheek, “can you come to bed with me? i don’t want to sleep alone.” nat pleaded in a soft tone, leaning her forehead against his, lovingly stroking his cheek with her thumb, before she continued, “and i’m really sorry i kept you up late worrying. that was a total dick move. please tell me you’re not mad?”

he was just glad she was home. or at least okay. “ah, okay. i just wanted to make sure you were fine, nothing else.” he said with a nod as the female went to the bathroom. maybe he shouldn’t have been this worried, it wasn’t a big deal, right? “let me know if you need anything!” he called before crashing on the couch, realizing maybe he should have just gone to bed.

nat couldn’t help but feel bad that he had stayed up all night waiting for her. she knew he had probably worried himself sick but it’s not like this was out of the ordinary. she quickly showered herself then got out and dried off, slipping on a loose tshirt and a pair of sweatpants. she made her way out of the bathroom, hoping that theo would still be awake so she could apologize further and make sure he wasn’t upset. while lightly drying her hair with a towel, she noticed the male sleeping on the couch. making her way over and sitting next to him, she gently ran her fingers through his hair while softly whispering, “are you awake, baby?--- i need something from you.”

“Kinda, yeah       but then there’s another     what, month gone? On the bright side, after that, nothing else is official until August.”

“A month should go by way faster than the past three months, so it won’t be that bad. That’s music to my ears, darling.”

“babe, where have you B E E N ???” he asked, furrowing his brows. it was late, s u p e r late and he was WORRIED. he was worried the other may have gotten hurt or something possible worse. maybe it was silly, but he cared.

“um, i’ve been out...” she said softly, surprised that her boyfriend was still awake at this hour. she dropped her ballet duffle onto the ground then proceeded to undress herself as she made her way over to the bathroom. “the girls and i went out after practice and i couldn’t tell you since i left my phone here. sorry hun, but i’m here now and i’m okay.” she called from the bathroom as she started the shower.

"We’ve got about a week before I have to go back on tour."

“So does that mean we finally get to make up for the past three months that you have been gone?”
