"Ah, hello! I'm the Doctor, I'm fifteen hundred years old,--- well, I'm not really sure. I sort of stopped counting. I'm the fourteenth face, though. I'm from a planet called Gallifrey and--- oh, perhaps I should tell you. I'm look like an eighteen-year-old girl now! And I'm finally ginger! Ha!" As much as he hated to admit, he knew Doctor was right.  Jack was very well known everywhere, for good and not so good reasons.  He was out there somewhere right now, exploring.  Making friends.  Building relationships.  All without Ianto by his side.  How many people has Jack seen die since 456?  Ianto doesn’t want to think about that.  ”You truly are one magnificent person, Doctor.  I can see why he was so fond of you.”  The Welshman manages a tiny smile before he’s stretching his back, looking around.  ”What do I do now?  Surely times have changed since… that day.  I’m going to need your assistance.”  Not even five minutes in to his new life and already Ianto Jones is planning.  He’s back.

"Ah, yes, but Jack's a good guy as well. Thought I'd do him a favour by helping you get back here. Besides, let's be honest, you really didn't deserve to die, so, go have some more fun with life, yeah?" she told him, smiling. After all, the Doctor was quite like an overenthusiastic puppy at times. And this was definitely one of those times. Because it had worked. She'd brought someone back, and not just anyone, but Ianto Jones. Of course, she didn't know him all that well, but she knew for sure she wasn't doing a wrong thing by doing this. "Well, I've got a time machine. I can send you back to five minutes after.. things happened last time. Problem is, I never quite end up where I want to go with my TARDIS. Maybe we'll get lucky this time. But, what do you do now? That's completely up to you. I'm just here to help you with it."

"Doctor?" he gasps, and that’s when it clicks in his head.  No one else talks as oddly as this woman does, not from what he’s gathered.  "Long time no see…" He gasps again, this time as another attempt to breathe properly again.  It takes a few intakes, but soon he’s feeling the ability to speak com back to him.  Then she mentions someone, someone he’s thought about more than anyone else.  "Jack.." he says out loud, eyes widening as he listens to the rest of what the Doctor has to say.  "Brought me back…" He glances at his hands again, eyebrows furrowing against each other.  "But I’ve been gone, Doctor.  There is no bringing me back."

"Jack," she repeated after him, smiling. "Yes, Jack Harkness. You know him, I know him. I think a whole lot of people know him.. Actually, I'm pretty sure that they're familiar with him on this planet to. He's kind of hard to avoid and not know, really." Once again, she was rambling. She never quite noticed it when she did that, mainly because she talked fast, very fast. To her, it was like a normal person saying one sentence. Only she said at least five instead. "Of course there's bringing you back, you're already back!" the Doctor laughed. "Welcome back!"

He blinks, trying, without success, to get a good look at his surroundings.  To understand where he was simply by his own eyes.  Nothing sank in.  He was somewhere unfamiliar.  Mostly out of instinct, he looks down at his wrists, thankful to see that they aren’t tied down.  So far he’s safe from any experiments, not that they would hurt, any way.  Death does have its advantages.  His attention refocuses on the female.  ”What do you mean, how am I doing?  Typical day for me.  Only problem is I still haven’t the foggiest idea where I am, and I’ve been everywhere.  Explain to me what’s happened.  What’ve you done?”

"Oh!" the Doctor exclaimed, only now realising that the poor man obviously had no idea what was going on. Crossing her arms, the girl thought of how she would explain this. Because it was a rather odd situation. Maybe she could just best explain who she was first, aware that he probably didn't have a clue. Stupid face-changing abilities. She'd seen him looking down at his wrists, just that slight spark in his eyes, which made her put a hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry, you're okay," she told him. "Ianto Jones, it's me, the Doctor. Jack's Doctor. That one!" the Doctor explained, placing her hands on her face, as if she was trying to prove it was real. "Look, different face.. Anyway, we're on a planet quite far from Earth, but we don't have to worry about that, cause I've got the TARDIS. But I brought you back."

At first he’s convinced he’s in a dream.  His eyes are open, he can feel things, touch things, smell things, he should have stopped dreaming a long time ago.  He had, for a while there.  The only thing he’d seen was darkness, nothing more.  But this.. this is almost too real.  It has him sitting up straight on some sort of bed, gasping for air.  The sudden ability to breathe hits him like a ton of bricks.  Soon he’s coughing, loud hard coughs.  When he’s regained enough control to talk, he turns his head towards the only other person there with him, and blinks.  Blinks quite a few times.

"Where am I?"

image

"Wow, wow, buddy. C'mon, you're okay, just breathe in and breathe out," the Doctor tries to talk him through his coughs. "You're fine, you're fine. Still know how to breathe, right? I didn't do anything wrong, I hope. Once met someone that had lost their ears because of this.." the ginger rambled, not particularly paying attention to Ianto anymore, only glancing over to see if the ears were still in place. "But you have them, so that's a start. How're you doing?"

Visitors at the door, Doctor Jones. There is nobody else to welcome them onto the base." "Thank you, I will speak to them," she told the voice coming out of the intercom, as she pushed herself to her feet and left her office. It wasn’t far from the hallways with the offices to the front desk, so it was barely a minute later when Martha got there. "Hello," she smiled, searching her pockets for her ID badge. "I’m doctor Martha Jones."

"Doctor Martha Jones? Blimey, I really like the sound of that. Doctor Jones. Hm, it's great. Can't say it enough."

"As long as I die knowing I helped… I don’t really know what I will do yet… But, tell me: am I remembered? By you? By anyone?”

"You'll never be forgotten. And you'll be fine, trust me."

"They all sort-of fade in the end don’t they? What number are you? How do I die? I just hope it’s not kidney failure- That would be embarrassing…"

"In the end, they do. I'm number fourteen. Don't worry, it's nothing embarrassing like kidney failure or an accident with a toaster."

"Doctor- not sure I completely understand…            What do you mean by, in trouble? It’s just you usually use the word trouble          instead of the word catastrophe.”

"Trouble trouble catastrophic trouble kind of trouble."

Jealous messages

"Did you have fun with you-know-who last night?"
"I guess my company doesn't interest you any more."
"What do you see in that guy/girl?"
"(S)he's kind of hot... you think?"
"Is he bigger than me?"
"When's the wedding?"
"I heard you and ___ are an item."
"Is there... someone else?"
"I never agreed to an open relationship!"
"Does she do that thing that I do for you?"
"I see you'll flirt with just about anyone."
"I'm a fool for thinking I was special to you."
"How serious is it between you two?"
"You've been spending a lot of time with ___ recently."
"So you tell all girls/guys that, I see."
"So that's your type, huh?"
"Who's better in bed, me or him/her?"
"I can't bear to see you with someone else."
"You're just a slut."
"Just curious... not like I'm jealous or anything..."
