Holy fucking shit this is one of the most incredible things I have ever read. I am dead serious. I PROMISE you that you want to read this, and you're going to immediately send it to all your weird friends who you also know will love it.

This poem is AMAZING, and I can immediately think of three musician friends I need to send it to so they can do projects with it.

I LOVE this! Gooooo read it, you won't regret it.

I'm not even kidding I think food service jobs are the hardest customer service jobs that exist and if you have them on your resume long enough that it's clear you could maintain them people should be begging on their hands and fucking knees for you to work for them.

Do you have any idea how much goes into any given food service job. Not only is it customer service, it's usually heavy machinery operation and maintaining, sanitation work, handling of money, awareness of allergens and chemicals and EXACTLY where they are and where they go, intense memory games for menu items and all of their ingredients... You deal with some of the absolute worst rushes doing multiple tasks, you can basically never sit down, most of your cooking equipment is extremely dangerous and can hurt you very badly if you lose focus for any amount of time, you deal with insane temperature fluctuations constantly, food service is always understaffed because it's less expensive to pay you to do the jobs of four people, everyone is incredibly mean to you all the time, and you get paid like absolute fucking shit because people think it's "unskilled" entry level labor anyway.

Average sixteen year old working minimum wage at McDonald's is actually a more respectable and skilled worker than any person working a salaried desk job on the planet.

This picture is so precious to me.

Something about Max sitting on his little stool, with his shoes off, paint smears on his suit, patiently listening to GP is telling him is... So soft🥰️

Max looking more cleanly shaven and having a shorter trim and Charles looking decidedly more hairy this weekend. I feel like it’s an arrangement they have depending on who is daddy and who is babygirl that week!

Hualian is a great pairing cause you start reading the books and Hua Cheng is this elusive mysterious man and you have no idea why he’s so nice, he’s probably scheming GASP what does he want in return for all this help????

And then you get to the end and find out that the man is the biggest simp imaginable. Everything he owns is for Dianxia, everything he did is for him. He is one luckiest man in love with the unluckiest man alive and they are so fucking soft for each other its impossible

charles smiling with such fondness whenever max is mentioned in an interview vs max going ‘act cool act cool’ whenever charles’ name comes up

embarrassing for them

charles vs mentioning max in press is a saga by itself

Taking someone's cigarette out of their mouth: Multiple meanings - used a lot in media to convey control, power play, very masculine, I'm your boss and this is mine now, get over it. Mildly flirty, look at me, all in your space and shit, seductive. You're not allowed to smoke, because I say so.

Putting the cigarette back in their mouth afterwards: Ground-breaking. Would be less erotic to just fuck honestly. Who does this?

I read online that FOM has limited the amount of behind the scenes content that the F1 teams are allowed to release on YouTube because of the cross over with DTS. If it is true then that is really upsetting.

  1. So much of the teams behind the scenes content would be stuff that would never feature in an episode of Drive to Survive. From what I have heard they barely showed Max last year so for certain teams and drivers the only content you will get will be from the teams directly.
  2. Drive to Survive seems to have shown a complete disregard for any type of duty of care as to how they portray drivers. I know it's an entertainment show but it's meant to be a documentary style and so people will take things they see as fact. Some people won't think about how things are edited or how things are taken out of context. The show doesn't seem to care about making someone out to be the 'bad guy' if it makes the episode more entertaining. I swear that the earlier series of the show are the reason some people still dislike Max to this day. It doesn't matter what he does, some people have formed a view of him and they refuse to go back on it and all because a television show decided to make a villain out of a young driver. It has happened to other drivers too. I really would not like the content we see limited to how someone in the editing room decides to portray that particular driver.

I don't know, just some random thoughts on as Saturday night!
