Hey hey! So I’ve been wanting to do a Lightning Returns centred group verse where we reimagine the events of the game. The story felt sporadic to me, and you feel a bit detached to the characters, so I thought it would be cool to do our own spin on it. After most of the spots are filled, we’ll brainstorm the critical parts of the plot and organize how it’ll pan out.

If you are a FFXIII muse that would like to participate, you can holla at me in my askbox hah. If a character is reserved but not taken, you can place a reserve anyways. [ In case they drop out ]

I. Threads will be para to novella, so you have to be comfortable writing at least para! There will also be instances where you will be writing in a group [3 people] thread.

II. You have to be at least decently active since story progression relies on participation. Twice a week is good!

III. Have skype to plot!

I. When I say reimagined I mean it will be based very loosely on the original plot of LR. The characters do not need to be found in the same areas as they are in the game.

On the Topic of Followers

Lately, there have been a lot of posts relating to losing followers and how it effects people personally.

Take a step back for a moment and think about this.

People will come and go. Some will decide to stay because they enjoy your blog, others may decide to leave for other reasons. Some of those reasons range from blog deletions, conflicting interests, or lack of interaction. Focusing on the last two, it’s important to remember that the majority of the time it has nothing to do with you as a person.

It’s also important to remember that those who unfollow you have their reasons, and they should be respected. You should not oust them in public, it’s quite disrespectful. You cannot please everyone, nor should that be what you’re striving for. If you do not cooperate well with someone, handle the matter maturely and in private.

You’re here to have fun.

This is not a popularity contest, you’re not getting paid for ratings here. You should not consider the loss of a follower as an attack at your worth.

Seriously.

Some people are so caught up in losing followers that they forget about the value of those who are currently interacting with them. Those that enjoy your company, those that enjoy writing with you. That energy being focused on your supposed popularity needs to be redirected into actual writing— roleplay more specifically.

That’s what we’re here for.

Whether you have 5 followers or 1000, the concept is the same.

Cherish what you have in front of you. Your follow counter is simply a number. Some may blossom into friendships, others may not. But when they do, you should focus your attention on that rather than obsessing over someone who has never even talked to you.
