For the moment I have, yes. I’m not sure if I’ll come back to posting it. I have a lot of writing for it but tbh all the motivation to do it left a few months ago, I stopped hearing from one of my main friends here again after trying to reconnect and the whole thing just ended up feeling like tumblr wasn’t where I wanted to be. I miss the rest of you lot though and I miss posting my story. I’m moving house next month though so maybe with all the new routines and environment etc I’ll be back here a bit more. Thank you for your lovely message ;-;
This is the second mass casualty event in Christchurch since I moved 13,000 miles away and I think I find it harder than if I was still home. I feel useless and powerless and very far from home right now and it was another night of sitting with my phone in bed at 5am watching my friends check in as safe on Facebook and waiting for little pieces of news updates to sift in.
They live streamed it. The fuckers live streamed it and put it on twitter and Facebook as they did it.
New Zealand hasn’t had a mass shooting since 1990.
I’m so angry. And heartbroken. They should have been safe there. This has changed the city. It’s changed the country.

Ah thank you! That’s really kind to say!
I think if someone loves the story or idea they’re writing then that will come across, and it won’t be terrible. I love reading, I love watching films and tv series and playing video games so I used my favourite parts from those - plots, character types, tropes etc and put them into what I was writing. That way I was going to enjoy writing it and that would hopefully come across to whoever read it. Then I chose a few scenes I was really keen to write, regardless of where they were going to fit into the story, and just started writing them. That way you can start to get a feel for the characters and then you’ll think of other scenes as you go along and just keep writing more as you think of them until you can start to string them together in a timeline.

C H A L L E N G E 9 ::: Makeover a Sim in your style
For this challenge I was able to makeover the lovely Marguerite Dormer created by the even lovelier @morganaplays! Don’t let Marguerite’s sweet face fool you though. She’s as sassy as they come and when she wants something she intends to get her way as I have learned recently having her in my game, lmfao! It was quiet spooky after not playing my game for so long, but still hilarious and enjoyable!
I tried many different skins on Margie girl here and she looked lovely in all of them so I was actually difficult for me to chose. Originally I was keen on using the Rosie skin as I think it’s slightly understated and not used as often, but then I remembered the Alma skin and knew that lot of people haven’t redownloaded since Frankie’s conversions to other ages and decided to try it out on her and absolutely fell in love with it. She’s like an Orange Dreamcicle (literally that is what I thought of when I put it on her and that’s probably because I’m hungry, but we won’t talk about that)! I tried to not mess with the eye shape as much because I like leaving something untouched. However.. I did make her eyes slightly bigger with the Alien Eye slider and I used the Eye Rotation. And I left her with her original hair color.
Needless to say I had a lot of fun with this makeover mostly because of Marguerite’s personality and her interactions with my sims. She’s very fond of milking the cows and she’s taken a liking to Bennette’s eldest daughter, Macie Jane. Though she doesn’t much care for Theron, lmao. Their interactions were very comical.
I want to personally thank you for being kind and patient while you waited for me to do my half of this challenge <3 It means more to me then words can express.
For this challenge I would very much appreciate the *Vio skin, please and thank you!

Dropping a line as part of the SSFF challenge #5 to tell you that your story is one, if not the, best I've ever read in the Sims community (and I've been here a long time - I'm talkingTs2 Exchange). I have you on notifications, and nearly every time I see that you've posted an update I freak out verbally no matter where I am. Effie and Sully make me feel so many things! LMAO'ing at the newest updates, too!(The damn instruction book joke, OMG, that was hilarious.) 😍👍

Beatrice’s face looked even stonier than it usually did - Sully wondered if she’d anticipated this, had schooled her mask to be utterly devoid of expectation. He wondered if she’d react with incredulity, amusement, shock or horror. Maybe a mix of all of them - however she’d best planned to emphasis her innocence. Only her posture belied her hidden unease; she sat perched on the edge of the armchair, her folded hands picking repeatedly at the fabric of her skirt. Ellery and Céilí sat together, the former looking impatient and the latter somewhat pitying. Céilí evidently didn’t have any hope for him, regardless of what she thought this meeting was about. Beside him, he could feel Effie’s eyes on him, curious and waiting. He wondered if he should remain seated, or get to his feet like he was about to give a speech.
He cleared his throat. Sorry about this, kid.
