I am in a state of fear over this week’s election. Fear that people will do exactly this, stay at home. Even if you have to drag yourself from your bed at 7am because it’s the only time you have, or if you’re the last one joining the queue at 10pm, you need to vote. It’s so damn important, and it really could come right down to the wire where tiny numbers of votes will make the difference. If you are a human being who cares about living in country not being run by a megalomaniacal lizard woman, MAKE YOURS ONE OF THEM.

For the elderly: • Triple lock on pensions guaranteed • Winter Fuel Allowance and bus passes guaranteed • 1.5bn put into social care each year
For everyone: • 1 million new homes built a year, half of them social housing • National Education Service • Fully funded NHS • Nationalising energy, Royal Mail, water and trains
