Printed Leggings: 2 Ways
Printed leggings can sometimes be intimidating to wear. They’re tight, bright, and push the fashion envelope. With that in mind, I wanted to show off two ways to wear a bright pair of leggings!
Living Dead Clothing was kind enough to give me with these Blue Dragon Queen Leggings from their new Fantasy Collection and after putting them on, I fell in love. I absolutely loved the texture and bold design. I knew that I wanted to play up the scales and warrior vibes with my two outfits.
Outfit #1: Biker Black
When I first saw these leggings, my mind immediately went to Water Pokemon (which I totally have to do an outfit soon!). I imagine this outfit is what I would wear if I was an awesome/biker Water Gym Leader. I started with studded sneaker wedges and paired that with leather shorts over the leggings. I love shorts with leggings, especially if you’re uncomfortable wearing spandex. It’s a unique way to layer and brings some depth to outfits featuring printed leggings.
Outfit #2: Cozy Grey
Typically when you think of bright leggings, you pair it with black. I wanted to compliment the blues of these leggings so I chose a charcoal grey top and matching thigh high boots. With just a peekaboo of the legging showing, it tones down the print and offers a more covered way of wearing it. This look is great for wearing out and even to work in my case!
Leggings Review
As I said above, I absolutely love these leggings. The material provides good coverage, but is stretchy enough to be extremely comfortable. I didn’t see any sheer bits when I sat or bent over (which is always a plus for leggings) and the length was a decent length on my 5″10 legs. The print looks so good in person, the colors are bright, but also complement each other. The only piece that I wasn’t crazy about is the design of the pattern on the butt - I don’t like to emphasize that part of my body and the print seemed to really point there. But easy solution = layer longer top over that part of the print! I’d highly recommend these leggings and can’t wait to keep trying new outfits with them.
