HIT DA BRICKS: FRONTLINES EDITION
sincerely, from your local lesbian who does genuinely love frontlines. however...... Sometimes it tests my patience........ you understand
I got the wonderful opportunity to see Labyrinth on the big screen last week (thank you Fathom Events) and I think this time around really helped me nail down one of the things that makes this movie so special to me: the ending message.
A story with a somewhat childish sixteen-year-old girl who immerses herself in magic and fantasy worlds who goes through a journey and a transformation and comes out the other side more mature could very easily have ended with the message of "Now that the adventure in the fantasy world is over, our heroine has grown and matured enough to leave magic and fantasy behind and become an Adult."
But Labyrinth doesn't do that.
Labyrinth says: "You might grow up a little. You might put away your costumes and your music box and your crown. You might give your teddy bear to your little brother. But that doesn't mean you have to leave it all behind. Every so often in your life, for no reason at all, you might need a little magic back in your life. And your friends in the fantasy world will always be there for you."
"Should you need them."
no matter how terrible my day is. i can always end my day in bed imagining fictional characters making out sloppy style and fucking raw. and that's beautiful. there's some good in this world mister frodo and it's worth fighting for
deeply unlikeable and unpleasant female characters are actually so important for the ecosystem and also as a good litmus test over if a person is Weird about women or not

So I am not a big rasslin' fan overall. I follow one, a single, wrestler and it's Athena/Ember Moon, because she's a huge nerd (and hot, but I repeat myself).
I just need the Baldur's Gate community to understand that this badass pro wrestler cosplayed as Karlach and it was smoking. Thank you for your time.
just saw someone use the term "entirely bi" for someone who is both bisexual and biromantic, and nope, we're not fucking doing that. we're not gonna frame bi aces and aros and aroaces as inherently less bi according to allonormative standards. no.
i'm asexual. i'm bi. i am FULLY and ENTIRELY bi. my asexuality does not cancel out any part of my bi-ness. my lack of sexual attraction does not negate the attraction i do experience.
this is why i dislike split attraction terminology because none of my orientations/attractions is "split off" from anything. they're all whole.
i'm fully bi and fully ace. stop trying to cut me into pieces.
I don't trust anyone who hasn't acknowledged their capacity for evil.
"I'm just a smol bean uwu" No sir, what you are is someone who is so habituated to thinking of yourself as innocent that you will continue to do so even when you're guilty.
It pisses me the fuck off that yoga is actually ancient and really good for you. Part of me still feels like it was invented to extract wealth from white socal moms.
I hate New age shit so much I actually get kinda mad when cleaning my room and drinking water actually improves my mood.
