60s Musician History—> Eric Stewart : was originally in a three piece sixties Mancunian pop group called The Mindbenders. Wayne Fontana was the lead singer until he walked out on them in the middle of a concert and Eric decided he would have take over. After the Mindbenders split in 1968, Eric formed a group called 10CC, famous for their song, “I’m Not In Love”. Eric Stewart also collaborated with Paul McCartney on three McCartney albums between 1982 and 1986. After Eric got in a car accident and lost his left eye, Paul was the first to call him up at the hospital to see if he was doing alright.
