“Why thank you for the vote of conFIDENCE!” Minako yelled in surprise as she did not go easy on the throttle. However, she did manage to, eventually, gain control and get the poor girl to the hospital. Jerking her hands from the handle bars was another issue entirely.

She could only keep the smile on her face as the mortal spoke. Leaning forward, she placed her forehead on Patroclus’s and whispered sweet nothings against his lips, never touching his with hers. She pulled away, though her fingers lingered in his hair. “I know what it is like to live your life for another. Do not be afraid to admit it, for you deserve to be touched and loved as you desire him.”

[ grim and seventh are back on my dash! -squees like a school girl- ]

“Right! Lets get you to the hospital!” She exclaimed, keeping a tight hold on the wind scout before setting her on the back of her own back and taking the control. “Just like the arcade, right?” She said before putting on her helmet and thrusting the throttle. 

“I would’ve thought you smarter than that, Haruka-san.” Minako smiled, knocking her forehead lightly against Haruka’s. You really think a silly little fight, no matter how escalated, would separate the two of you?

Mina de-transformed and pulled Haruka against her. “Trust me to drive you?” She lightly teased, however she was asking permission at the same time for it would be the fastest way to get her to the hospital. “What’s on your mind?” She then asked softly, knowing that his youma wasn’t strong enough to wound Haruka unless she was either forced to let it, or distracted with something large on her mind.

When was the last time she smiled? She’d heard the kids as they rushed by giggling and enjoying the freedom they didn’t know was won from sacrifice. The ping in her heart grew more painful, but she no longer flinched. Perhaps she was becoming numb.
