Helping Fort McMurray
Usually my posts are pretty darn funny, but I’m finding very little reason to laugh this morning. You can smell the smoke in the air, and the sky doesn’t look quite right.
In case you’re not up to date on news, Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada is burning. The entire town has been evacuated, and so many people have lost everything.
If you’re trying to find a loved one or need evacuation information, you can call the regional municipality at 780-762-3636 or the Red Cross at 1-888-350-6070.
Facebook also activated its safety-check feature for the Fort McMurray fire, an option for those who want to reassure their family and friends that they’re okay.

“I really care about this character; she’s like my best friend, my other half. I worry for [Sansa] because she’s a real person to me. I’m constantly saying to David and Dan [Benioff and Weiss, the show’s creators], ‘What’s going to happen to her? You have to tell me!’ I almost think about her more than I do myself. It’s like a split personality; sometimes I slip into her by mistake.” - Sophie Turner for The Edit Magazine (April 2016)
“My father taught me it was death to bare steel against your liege lord. But doubtless, the Greatjon only meant to cut my meat for me.”
