Support Skylar's Top Surgery and Recovery!
Hi! My name is Skylar, but I typically go by Kay for my online pals! I’m scheduled to get top surgery on May 31st, 2024, and I need a little help getting everything that I need. I’m lucky enough to have a surgeon that takes my insurance, but the out-of-pocket costs will still most likely be expensive. Additionally, I won’t be able to work over the summer as I recover due to my job being physically demanding.
I have an Amazon Registry for materials that I will need for recovery and a GoFundMe if you’re willing to support me! Even just sharing this post would be incredibly helpful if you aren’t in a position to donate. Any support is extremely appreciated!
3/28 UPDATE!
- My surgery date got moved from May 31st to June 7th. (Just a week later.)
- I adjusted the amount that I'm fundraising for, because the original goal seemed a bit high.
- Because my friends are amazing, I have gotten a lot of items off of my registry that I need for my recovery! I adjusted the amount of funds that I would need to allocate to recovery items on my GFM page. If I'm able to get all of the recovery items from my registry, it would really free up some of the funds raised for financial stability!

My friends are awesome and keep grabbing stuff off of my registry! I recently had to grab a couple things off of the registry myself as well. (I sprained my ankle and needed some extra ice packs.)
