                       AU:  Reim Empire ( a new gladiator )

                       So I thought of this AU where after the Kou Civil War, when her brothers were exiled, she felt so ashamed. But as soon as Sinbad released her from Zepar’s hold, she had made a hard choice to cut off all of her hair to her chin. Choosing between many alias’s, she chose the name Yuuki. But before she left, she had written a letter to her beloved cousin, whom she just can’t place her hate towards…. Explaining her shame and humiliation, so she is leaving, and that she does not blame or hate him. It was her own naive heart that caused her this blame… 

                        As soon as she slides it under his door in the dark of the night, she had changed out of her magnificent robes that showed her status of royalty, and into the commoners high collared dress. Leaving for one place where there seemed to be no rules over royalty and lowborn failures. Her superior swordsmanship and footwork, finds herself in Reim Empire. And she’s never met anyone from Reim, so they new not of what she looked like or anything but her name. No make up, not even any jewelry, except Vinea’s hairpin, which she keeps in the sleeve of her dress. 

                        There she hopes to grow stronger, so she’d attempt to join in the Coliseum, the last place anyone would suspect a lowborn princess to be. Wanting to prove to herself. Show herself she is strong, and she’d still secretly write to Hakuryuu, making him promise never to come look for her or reveal her true identity. She liked that in here, she could prove herself to others. Show them her true self without being seen as just a royal princess.

Inuyasha Verse

             Her name is Kougyoku Ren, but the fearful humans call her by Vinea. She is the daugther of the powerful water serpent, her mother being a human was but a mere concubine for the water demon. She’d much rather be in the ocean with her father and the sea life, than with the humans, since her mother was gone doing who knows what or dead. But one thing she does enjoy is a good sword fight, so the moment she spots the other with a weapon, she will want to take them on in a full on fight. But her attacks are much more powerful when she is close to bodies of water, able to create large tsunamis and huge rain pour. Her father even controls the rain, so sometimes the humans would go months in a huge drought.

                  “I don’t know what he is doing.. I just know he took Aladdin with him to the city and that’s all.” Who’d have thought there were places like brothels out there. And that Alibaba and Aladdin liked those sort of things.

                      Kougyoku finishing the task she gave herself, she can feel exhaustion rushing her entire body. Her brain barely processing anything, eyes slowly burning, and it gets pretty cold. Giving a slight yawn, she stretched in her seat, looking over to see if Alibaba was still looking through the mountains of books in the library. But he was gone. Looking around, he was nowhere in the library. A sigh escaped pink lips, her cheek resting on the palm of her hand, as she continued her task. She felt quite nervous. What if the other countries still believe she’d raid their homes like her family, and refuse her offering of peace.

                       Maybe she could go talk to Morgiana and Aladdin about the idea. Lost in her tired, nervous thoughts, she was surprised by the feeling of another laying resting over her shoulders. Looking back, she saw Alibaba placing a blanket that he must of gotten from one of the many bedrooms in the palace. A happy blush on her face at her dear friend’s thoughtfulness, she spoke softly, “Thank you, Alibaba. You should of gotten one for yourself. Rakushou gets very cold around this time of year.”

It was early in the morning, and one of the days that Spartos usually got up to do some morning prayers before the day got started. The knight thought he was alone, but much to his surprise he noticed the Kou princess, who was visiting Sindria sitting at the spot he usually did his daily ritual. “Good morning.” he politely greeted her.

Kougyoku had just been getting some alone time, since her cousin didn’t seem interested in sparring practice with her. Not like she cared or anything. Despite it not being rare in her country, female warriors seem to still surprise people, especially an Imperial Princess. Jumping slightly at the sudden greeting coming from nowhere, she looked over her shoulder to the General. Standing on her feet, hands hidden in her sleeves, before greeting, “Morning.” She quickly pulled away any emotion, just like her family’s pride shown her.

                   The Empress had spent the entire day with Hakuryuu in the Empire’s royal library. She had been telling him of her plans of releasing all of the small countries that their family conquered through battle, work with an alliance of Trade and Support with Reim. It was such an eventful year, and she had left the IA, putting out she’s aware of her family’s inhumane ways of conquering, slavery, and unnecessary wars… She faced Sinbad as someone she can no longer hate and despise, for she wanted to focus on the change of her country and her people’s lifestyle.

                     Arms crossed on the table, she figured Alibaba was off with Aladdin doing who knows what. She couldn’t remember at the moment where Morgiana was, she was just so tired, she almost forgot Hakuryuu was in the room. With a soft yawn, she felt exhaustion overcoming her. Writing so many personal scrolls to send out to many countries and nations as a peace treaty, handwritten herself and signed in her distinct penmanship. Her breathing even, she figured she can take a few minutes for a very quick nap. Feeling something placed on her shoulders of her many layers, ruby pink revealed from lids to glance at her shoulder to see a blanket, before rolling to look up at her cousin, the one who put it on her.

                     “I’m just taking a ten minute nap…”

| | Hungry. He was hungry, and nothing would stop him from obtaining the snack he desired. Unless, it just so happened to be the Empress herself, and the moment he hears the scrolls hit the ground, he knew he’d have to postpone his original plan. There’s a brief moment where he mourns the snack that got away, but it’s soon filled with an apology spewing from his lips and a rather forceful tug on his arm.
“Sorry, Sister Kougyoku, I guess I was thinking too much about what I wanted to eat,” Like watermelon…with maybe some slices of strawberries and peaches. Aladdin liked the sound of that, but he had to attend to this first. It’s then that he notices just what’s going on. What was she using all these scrolls for? As he picked up the first one he could make out the elegant writing of ‘HELIOHAPT’ imprinted on the edge.

                 She had Koumei help get these in her arms and she even told him she can hold them all, but of course, now she can barely pick them all up herself. So thankfully, Aladdin was good and responsible enough to help her pick up her fallen scrolls. She wanted them to look neat and clean. To show she was serious about wishing to make peace with the countries her family unjustly conquered and fought with.

                  “Hm, at least you stopped to actually help.” Unlike another magi, whom would have probably laughed about her not holding tight if they were important and keep walking away. The moment he asked if she needed help, she sighed softly. Why was her family trait her darn pride?? She could do without so much of it honestly. But maybe it was because it was Aladdin asking if she needed help, that she wanted to say no.

                     Giving a soft nod, she lifted the half she managed to pick up without dropping what was already in her arms. “These are very important.” She began to head towards the library, before continuing her speech. “I don’t know if Alibaba told you... How we had our plans foiled in making alliances by a terrible rumor that we went back to being war driven and hungry for conquer...” Clutching her scrolls, she turned to him to say, “This is my last hope to prove to the other kingdoms that we’re not slave-driven beasts of war for a country.”

            Kougyoku was just walking off from the throne room with the many piles of scrolls in her arms. Now that Alibaba had accomplished his mission to find Aladdin, she predicted he’d be leaving. So she had to find ways to continue building up her Company. In her arms were personal scrolls with wishes for a peace treaty with other nations, all with her signature on them. “One for Heliohapt, one for Reim, one for Magnostadt, one for....” But she bumped into another figure while she was speaking to herself, dropping all of her scrolls.

               Seeing it was Aladdin she’d bumped into, “Look what you’ve made me do, Aladdin.” She immediately knelt to pick them all up. If he even attempted to walk past, she’d grab his arm and pull him down to help her pick up each scroll.

                     “When I first met him, he was an annoying, little brat who owned a terrible monster that I only saw the aftermath which was there was barely any damage on him and was about to completely kill Judar. Then he became even more of a brat when I went to Sindria, making fun of the make up I wear and leave marks on my hand. ( I didn’t give him any on his hand, nope no way no proof ). But I learned about his relationship with Ugo, the one I’ve taken away from him… I’ll admit, I did feel bad about taking away his first friend, but I only saw him attacking Judar and he was a complete stranger. After the war, since helping with making sure Zepar’s hold was off of me, I began to feel alone but he and everyone else kept an eye on me…. Then he just had to go and run off like that with Hakuryuu and Morgiana, which I understand why…. Sort of.  But he did get a bit bold for his sake, and I hope he can forgive me for the emotional trauma I caused upon our first meeting.”

                 “As a child, brought into the palace and hidden away from the staff and world… I would watch him with his brothers and sister… I’d grown jealous of his relationship with them. My sisters hated me and I knew nothing about my brothers. He was a lot more approachable than my own family, but I was afraid. Then when Uncle and my cousins’ deaths happened, he changed. I grew to stop watching him and follow Kouen-nii… We were on opposite sides in the Civil War.. But after I was going through my emotional turmoil and anger…. He worried for me. I couldn’t hate him for what he did, because I was ready to go through the same shoes as him after the war… Now, he’s no longer just a cousin whom I used to be jealous of, but a brother I can hope to see be happy with his life and no longer with those hateful eyes… If he’s happy, I can live on with a smile.”
