As some of you may know, my dad passed away last Wednesday. It’s been really hard on my family. My mom is very devastated. She and my dad were married for nearly 50 years, and even though this wasn’t necessarily a shock (my dad has been in bad health for close to 15 years), we just weren’t expecting him to pass on so soon.

Right now I want to take commissions to help my mom. She’s all alone in our house, left with the mess of cremation fees, as well as the burden of cleaning the house now that my dad’s gone (removing his bedroom furniture, replacing carpets, etc) and I want to help as best as I can. My brothers tuned her car up: replacing the tires, oil change, detailing the inside. All I could do was help remove my dad’s bedding. I want to give my mom the peace of mind that I’ll be okay for a little while (since she does help me financially from time to time).

Unfortunately, I need help. I don’t make much at my job and because I’ve been gone for the past two weeks due to my dad’s death, I’ve missed quite a bit of work as well. All I can do now is hope for donations and commissions. So please, if you’re interested at all shoot an email to milkrainn@gmail.com. Currently, I have a donation button on my blog and any donations of from $5USD - $10USD will receive a quick doodle (ex: 1 / 2 / 3) as a small thanks. I’m also taking doodle page commissions for $25 (example).

…and we all couldn’t be happier with the results! It’s been a long time in development, but we’re finally getting the ball rolling on backer fulfillment!

PDF copies are currently only being sent out to all Kickstarter backers, then Storenvy pre-orderers, and then after all of that is completed, PDF’s will become available to the public.

(In which we will have a separate announcement as to where they can be purchased…)

Kickstarter backers should be looking out for surveys and messages from Kickstarter in which they will need to fill out their address/e-mail and will be receiving a message from Kickstarter with a link to where they can download their PDF.

(Same thing goes for Storenvy pre-orderers, except there is no survey and simply a message from Storenvy with a link.)

Now that PDF’s are circulating, we’ll be beginning work on fulfillment of physical merch, which we’ll still need a bit of time for. Updates to come! (Print copies and merch are still currently only available for people who pre-ordered, sorry! Follow this blog for future info on print copies~)

And as a last reminder, the Slime Edition PDF was a Kickstarter exclusive and was a limited edition volume— there will be no more PDF’s or print copies available but the volume will eventually be re-worked and re-released sometime in the future. For now, I will be reblogging some Slime Edition related posts where many different comics and illustrations from said PDF can be viewed or purchased.

decided to mess around with the design of a character for one of my classes.. we won’t be getting to character design until later in the semester, but i just HAD to start drawing her now!!
