for what its worth (bouncing off previous anons message and your answer) this blog has also brought me so much joy over the years and i loved seeing your posts on my dash. and for also what its worth its so clear over the years that this blog was run as a passion and for fun and i never got a hint of marketing or disney corporation from this at all. thanks for all the fun, totally understand the need to move on but this blog will always be a nice memory in my little tumblr world <3 :)

Oh my god … this is so sweet, I’m going to cry. I’m happy that it made you happy. Thank you!! ❤️

hey! i used to love this blog and i see it hasn't been active in a while, do you think you might come back?

This blog was made back in 2015 when I was still a teenager in high school and really loved Mulan and Disney! At one point we had 5 people running it.

Now, I’m well past university and don’t have the same interests I used to, which is a bittersweet but inevitable part of growing up. I’ve also come to realise the problems I have with Disney as a corporation: orientalism, aggressive capitalistic money making tactics at the expense of art, their poor treatment of their (minority) staff, etc etc etc you know the drill. Big evil mouse company. My heart’s just not in it.

Sometimes I consider deleting this blog, but it has so many happy memories associated with it that I think it will stay up. Probably very unlikely to update it again though!

Thank you everyone for all the fun these past few years :)

I know a lot of people don’t support the live action of Mulan 2020. (Or the older live action remake(not sure if you seen it). But where there any conimatic parallels in it compared with animation.

What does conimatic mean :/

EDIT: Ok I think anon meant cinematic and I’m just dumb. Anyway to answer the question, I haven’t seen the movie so idk.

The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all. You don’t meet a girl like that every dynasty.
