I have no doubt about it! Jean, Marco, Connie, and Sasha would be the happiest (as happy as they can be in their situation) group of friends!
I thought about an AU of Survey Corpse where the apocalypse didn’t happen, and Jean eventually became friends with Connie and Sasha. Marco would hang out with them due to his connection with Sasha, and eventually become close friends with Jean after doing what he does best: not minding his own business.
They’d be an interesting, yet tight little group that somehow always hangs out at Connie’s house and sneaks out at 1 AM to get Taco Bell.
Too bad their lives are terrible and Marco is dead

It’s not that Lani is nuts, she’s just lived a very hard life and has a difficult time coping with her trauma and addiction. Erwin was also worried that the feelings Lani had for him were born out of her clinging onto someone who wasn’t a poor influence in her life, or just seeking out positive attention and validation. Even though Erwin has / had feelings for Lani, he decided that he cannot be with her, and Nadya served as the perfect distraction from Lani.
