so, I’ve been thinking about writing down the complete story of the Children of Light and Darkness. i’m not sure when this will actually happen, but I know I’d like to do it. though, I realized, I have a dilemma regarding character design.
originally, all of the characters had Japanese names. but for the sake of diversity, especially since these are meant to be god-like beings who have existed for millions of years and have the ability to look like whatever they goddamn please, I’d like to change that. I’ll be keeping Rin the same - I’ve done so much with him as Rin and I don’t want to change that - but as for the others, I’m willing to take suggestions!
there are seven other characters that need changes:
- Megumi Asayuri (she/her)
- Takeshi Hoshika (he/him)
- Kohaku Moriya (she/her)
- Hiroshi Heironmori (he/him)
- Chiyoko Shikage (she/her)
- Metsubō Kyoka (he/him)
- Katsumi Akumahana (she/her)
I’m not going to mention their appearances, although I could give some details if you’re interested, because I don’t want people to be swayed into choosing something that matches the original. these characters can manipulate their appearance and look like anyone from around the world! give me different ethnicities and racial backgrounds! I want these guys to stand out!
