((It's actually pretty simple to be honest. FIRST: You need an idea for an ask blog, whether it's a character, au, crossover, or whatever. Something that will interest people, but you also really enjoy!SECOND: Make the blog for your idea. Give it a funny name. Something easy to remember that also somewhat explains that your idea is. Or at least hints to it. You can make a side blog, but I'd personally suggest making a separate email and making a new account to not risk reblogging things to the wrong account. THIRD: Decorate your blog! Make a banner, icon, and any other things you might need. Find a theme that you think looks nice and shows off your blog. When making a banner/icon/background you should probably use your own art. That way people can see your art style and you don't confuse them by having an icon that's completely different from what your art actually looks like.FOURTH: Open your ask box and make a post saying it's open! Don't forget to tag it with things a out the character and fandom. I'm not sure what to tag if it's an OC, since I've never done an OC ask blog before, but if it's an already existing character than you should tag it like this:[character name], ask [character name], [fandom name], [fandom name] ask blog, [character name] [fandom name], HINT: When people are looking up tags only the first 5 you put show up so it's important to put your more relevant information first.FIFTH: Don't get down if you don't get asks right away. If you want you can give yourself some asks to do so people see your active. It also helps to interact with other ask blogs too.
