Where Skyrim left an impression on me for its incredible vistas and environments, Fallout 4 was memorable for something else entirely: its four factions and their rivalry. Each of them have an equal measure of ideals and fatal flaws. Picking a faction that you believe in is easy -- but only at first. That's because even if you believed that you were siding with the good guys, it all comes down to treachery and bloodshed in the end, making you second-guess your choices.
But that's what makes Fallout 4 so good, and more importantly, true to itself. Because war, war never changes.

A tribute to the classic RPG Chrono Trigger, this piece captures the scene where Marle and her companions revive Crono by using the Time Egg on Death Peak.
The Time Egg (also eponymously called the Chrono Trigger) shatters, sending the party back in time to the moment before Crono fell to Lavos. By replacing the frozen Crono with a lifeless clone, the party is able to retrieve their beloved friend from the dead.
One of my all-time favourite RPG scenes in my all-time favourite RPG. Enjoy!
