i love seeing the amazon lotr discourse as someone who hasnt read the silmarillion. someone will be like “and in this article theyre saying Folfingariel was in Bimbol’bur during the rise of the 2nd age yet in the text Tolkien *clearly* states that he was busy crafting the bracers of Finglehelm up until the fall of Dghsdjkfgheim 🙄”. and im just here like. wow i cant believe they would say hes in bimblebur….
