When Chrissie wanted rid of Robert and threw that cheque at him, he couldn’t bend down to pick it up quick enough. From a muddy puddle no less.

Fast forward to R*becca throwing herself at him and offering him half of everything at Home Farm (all he ever wanted within reach). He turned her down. Flat. Then went out and bought matching engagement rings for him and his boyfriend (and pinned him against the wall for THE hottest kiss).

Fast forward again to Aaron getting stuck behind the steering column of their submerged car, while begging Robert to save himself. Robert refused. He was prepared to give up and die with Aaron rather than live without him.

Robert Sugden loves Aaron Dingle more than his own life. Why would he even think of cheating on him with a woman he feels less than nothing for? He wouldn’t.

That’s why these spoilers are not going to bother me any more. I have faith in Robert (and that hasn’t always been the case, believe me) and I have faith in his love for Aaron.

They have a wedding to plan and look forward to. Ultimately, nothing else is important.
