Joe Hills is the barkeep NPC that keeps hearing snippets of the DND party's adventures.

For those who don't know, this is Joe Lycett. He's a British comedian who's also bisexual/pansexual (he uses both labels interchangeably afaik), and this isn't an isolated thing.

He has a show called Joe Lycett's Got Your Back which explains consumer rights, exposes dodgy businesses and actually fights on behalf of people who have been scammed by those businesses, often successfully.

He also legally changed his name to Hugo Boss in protest of the fashion house Hugo Boss hitting a local brewery with cease and desist because they trademarked the word boss. The protest was successful and Hugo Boss receded the c&d.

I love it when Bdubs and Scar interact, because whenever Scar has a dyslexic moment, instead of laughing about it or teasing him Bdubs just goes with it.

You deserve people in your life who think you are a big deal. No competition, no backhanded comments, no jealously, no comparison, no hate just simply “I love you and there is nobody like you and there will only ever be one of you” type energy

I think people no longer understand that "viewer discretion is advised" does not mean "vaguely bad content ahead," it means View At Your Own Discretion. As in, if you see the content going in a direction that is unsuitable for you in any way, it is your responsibility to stop viewing. Don't blame creators for your failure to listen to your own warning signs. Nobody is forcing you to finish the episode, the chapter, the sentence. That's all you.

i feel like people got so weird about age gaps in this very abstract sense that now there's this taboo about being friends with someone who's a few years older or younger than u....like, i have friends in their 70s and i have friends in their early 20s and im always friendly with teenagers & kids too because they all deserve to have adult friends in their lives who they can trust! other people projecting their gross shit onto those friendships is not my problem

guess what! its good for us to have intergenerational friendships actually! its good for all of us to have healthy, friendly, respectful relationships with people of different ages! it works in all directions!
