interesting how when ppl mention they tricked ppl into eating v*gan food under the assumption it was normal food people are fine with it/happy but if you trick a v*gan into eating meat you’re a terrible person and it starts WW3

I mean, it’s stupid but the tricking a vegan into eating meat can cause them abdominal pain and possible puking if they’ve been a vegan for long.

And likewise, a lot of vegan substitutes contain nuts and soy, two of the most common food allergies (or can trigger other problems such as migraines or digestive problems in some people depending on other conditions they may have).

If it’s a long-term thing that’s another factor. If you live with someone and you’re secretly putting soy or dairy in their food when they’re not expecting it in an attempt to “help” them, that can cause long-term health problems (e.g. interfere with digestion or hormonal treatments). And if they’re not aware they’re eating it, that can make it difficult to diagnose what the problem is when they do notice.

Basically, yeah, people may be fine, but you can’t know that before you start. I agree that you shouldn’t tell people that you’re giving them one type of food, but secretly giving them another. Whether out of laziness, or as a kind of “take that” at them. You just never know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This meme is a reflection of the average: middle class life in the ‘burbs; taking pictures at everyday landmarks such as the uneven sidewalk by your house or the tree you almost crashed into when you just got your learners permit; wearing your favourite matching top and bottom in a picture to show off the 18k gold plated wristwatch and loafers your nana got you for your birthday; the grandest joys in the most average of things.
