@taylorswift hey mom we’ve missed you
Taylor Swift + album statistics
do you ever just think about how the Lover era, which Taylor specifically designed to be really peppy and interactive and celebratory and loud, ended with a quiet, heartbreaking performance of her most depressing song performed in seclusion in the midst of an international tragedy? and then just cry a little?
taylor releasing a pop album in 2019 and then a christmas song that same year and then being in cats and then releasing an alternative album called folklore in 2020 with a country song on it that she’s gonna perform at a country music award show in 2020

i think that beautiful ghosts has some of taylors prettiest lyrics and strongest vocals and im desperate to talk about it all the time but you all listened to it one (1) time and forgot about it
i will never be fully healed from the sheer brilliance of the term “bleachella” because not only was taylor’s hair freshly bleached for coachella, but she was there with jack aka bleachers and lorde aka ella…like on all levels including physical it was the most iconic thing i’ve ever witnessed
taylor really had lisa kudrow as a special guest and sang smelly cat, had her and uzo aduba sing white horse together, performed with legends like mick jagger and ricky martin, choreographed a dance to hot in herre with HAIM while nelly performed AND sang frozen with idina menzel while wearing a fucking olaf costume u really gonna tell me the 1989 tour wasnt a fever dream

sick and twisted to think that taylor doesn’t own the master copy of a song that has her literal heartbeat

someday i’ll be living in a big old city :) take me to the lakes where all the poets go to die i don’t belong :(
not me tearing up over this and also “welcome to new york, it’s been waiting for you” / “i can go anywhere i want, just not home”
i’m new york city.... you’re the west village... you know i left a part of me back in new york
Isn’t it just so pretty to think all along there was some invisible string tying you to me?
It’s hard to be anywhere these days when all I want is you
