Happy holiday weekend everyone! For those of you that enjoy the family company, enjoy it shamelessly! For those that can't speak up or voice otherwise; you are valid and not alone.
Family hive-mind of what love and care is doesn't work for everyone and most are reluctant to change or cater. I assure you they don't invalidate your space and needs to torture you. I hope with time you can vocalize your needs for space or time and that they can listen and both you and they can find compromise for your needs/things otherwise. If they don't? You have no obligation to their time, it's your life and I wish for your agency to come at the end of it. Your needs ARE important.
You are not alone, because I also had to make tough decisions about my family this year as well as so many others. You are not a bad child for wanting better for yourself, I promise ♥
