Howdy-doo y'all, it's ya girl Straw Witch! XwwX

figured it's about time i tried my hand at makin' on o' them pinned post things i've seen on some mutuals blogs

now lemme start this off by stating this is my personal blog where i do whatever the hell i want, which as a late-twenties-year-old involves some adult stuff here and there.

so if any minors (meaning anybody under 18) happen upon my humble abode here on tunglr dot com, best you mosey on to greener pastures, young'un

i'm a trans lady that broke outta her egg state and figured out she's actually a woman back in '18, and have since been making slow efforts towards figuring out how she wants transition

i have some ideas on how i wanna go about it, but funding and knowing where to go and what they charge is where i'm falling kinda short. hell, if i'm honest, i wouldn't know a damn thing about how to transition, i'm kinda making this up as i go :P

but yeah, it's been in little things, like this living strawperson i've made as an avatar for myself, or getting my hair done in ways that feel closer to feminine to me. just tryin' bits of stuff at a time, i'm easing into it

other than that i'm just an old blogger what'd been here since 2012, during what us hamstanks called The Megapause

in light of recent events at the time of this reblog regarding tumblr's CEO and his adherence to the audience of TERFs here on tumblr dot com, i've decided it'd be necessary to list some of my other spots of the internet, particularly Cohost which seems to also be pretty bad in regards to us commy trannies and the like but that seems to be where people are going so (might i suggest trying out Pillowfort?)

While I am glad people are beginning to acknowledge what intrusive thoughts really are I never see anyone discussing how it isn't JUST intrusive thoughts you can get, either. You can also get intrusive feelings and physical sensations that can range from making you mildly uncomfortable or worried to absolutely terrified about what this may mean for you. You can get unwanted urges that come suddenly and make you so fucking scared that you don't really know yourself like you think you do, or that you're going to lose control, or whatever else your fucked up brain can come up with. You can get unwanted physical arousal from something you're not attracted to. Like. groinal responses and arousal non-concordance have got to be the two worst fucking things to experience if your OCD focuses on sexual themes, i'm not even joking. And I wish more people in online spaces acknowledged that unwanted/intrusive physical responses are also a thing that can happen, and is just as terrifying as getting an unwanted image or thought in your head, and also means just as little about a person's actual desires or feelings as a thought does.

i think that there is no system that can prevent harm, there are only systems that can support the victims of harm and attempt to mitigate further harm by putting people who have harmed others into positions where they no longer have need to harm others. lets face it: at the end of the day, its inevitable that one human will have to kill another, it will happen, and a system of authoritarian violence cannot stop this, it can only empower the most violent by creating... you guessed it, even more harm

when I was a kid for some reason I thought Lola Bunny's last name was "Rabbit" and that she was actually Jessica and Roger's daughter. And the reason she wasn't in the original Loony Tunes is just that she wasn't born yet

I mean can you blame me. Look them and look at her. She's got a good blend of both of their features.

this is the only good head canon I've ever had tbh

โ€œIt Is an Honor to Be Suspended for Palestineโ€

Dispatches from the Solidarity Encampment at Columbia University

In this in-depth report, participants offer a blow-by-blow account of the events at Columbia, appraising the tactics that the demonstrators have employed and the challenges that they face.

since the white house put out a ridiculous statement condemning the protests i want to reiterate again that many of the students involved are jewish, there has always been a large jewish presence at these protests in nyc and in campus organizing for palestine
