First off…holy shit! Is that ever hot in a way I didn’t expect. And secondly…why is this not in the movies? Why go through the trouble of creating this costume, getting RDJ into it, and generally making this absolutely smoking hot look, and then not put it in at least one of the movies? Why? Do marvel hate us that much? (Wait, don’t answer that). And on further research, it seems this is from an alternate/deleted scene from Iron Man 2 where Tony steps out of the armor to confront Vanko, but…even if they deleted that, why didn’t they use this any of the other times when Tony steps out of the armor? It makes way more logical sense for Tony to have some kind of undersuit than for him to just step into the armor wearing a t-shirt and jeans. And also…did I mention it’s also hot? So many questions…

A little girl and her mom were looking at me at the coffee shop this morning and I heard her mom say “go on, it’s ok!” and the little girl shuffled up to me and said “ex-cuse me please, do you have to put on your tattoos by yourself every DAY or does your mom help you?” I am d y i n g

My niece was in the bathroom when I was in the tub and she asked if my tattoos would wash off. I told her they won’t, I’ll have them my whole life.

She asked, “Even when you die?”

I said, “Yes”

She looked me dead in the eye and said, “When you’re space dust your tattoos will be stars”

“WHEN YOU’RE SPACE DUST YOUR TATTOOS WILL BE STARS.“

Just so some of y’all know, this is not the actors or Marvel or Sony promoting the movie. This is them being the nicest people ever. They’ve talked about this. Tom started this habit of visiting every children’s hospital in the cities they film at ever since Homecoming. He would ask permission to borrow the suit and go on his own. No one was filming. Then Zendaya started going with him cuz she thought it was an awesome idea and then cameramen started also going. No one asked them to go. Jake Gyllenhaal then said recently that when he heard about this tradition, he had the need to do it too cuz it was the most amazing thing he’d heard of. Most of these visits weren’t even recorded. They’re just nice people wanting to make children happy and it’s so pure. There was even a clip of Tom crying afterward but I’m glad it was cut off cuz I did feel like they were invading his privacy there. And honestly, even if more actors from different franchises started doing this for publicity I wouldn’t care cuz they’re still making these children happy and fulfilling their dreams.

Someone said to me they were watching my screen test for Iron Man, and said, “that’s the direction you should have gone.” No the direction was, I was playing it a little more straight, there weren’t a bunch of funny lines, and I was probably half out of my body, hoping I’d got the part.  Then in executing the film we were finding this tone that was really somewhere between mine, and Jon’s, and Kevin’s sensibilities. xxx
