Stefan grinned ruefully. "I figured you'd say that. But better me than the Red Skull, right?" He has his charm on full blast - he knows the Falcon's no friend of HYDRA's, and Stefan's going to need all the allies he can get. 

Setting: After the events of The Winter Soldier, Steve and Bucky were offered a safe house, courtesy of Tony Stark. It is in a secluded area. Bucky and Steve live there together while Bucky recovers. Please note, Steve and Bucky are in a relationship. The two have opened their house to anyone and anyone is welcome to stay the night as there are plenty of guest rooms.

"We’re taking a day off," Stefan informed him, and handed him a swimsuit and sunscreen. "Put these on."

The mission Johann had expected had been a complete fabrication on Stefan’s part. In his professional opinion, his partner needed some time off from work. If you were going to rule the world, you might as well enjoy it, right? Besides, he was pretty sure Johann hadn’t been to a beach in - Stefan wasn’t actually sure Johann had ever been to a beach, at least not for leisure.

“You have got to be joking.” he snapped, only taking the items given to him because he had little choice. “I have FAR more important things to be attending to- AS do you!” He reminded, clearly angered by this little stunt and totally disappointed that there wasn’t going to be any kind of executions today- which he would of MUCH preferred, honestly.  If Stefan was any other officer, Johann probably would have killed him by now-  or would be getting dangerously close to it at least- but Stefan was Stefan so he would live with little more than a very pissed Skull to deal with- which wasn’t actually much out of the ordinary.  He became more horrified with the realization that Stefan was absolutely serious about this. “Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous.” he muttered, sounding horribly wounded and offended as he dumped the swim suit and sunscreen on the ground- both items he nearly found insulting “THIS is the most  preposterous thing that you have EVER came out with and I have NO time for such juvenile antics!” 

"Seventy years, and this is the most preposterous thing I've ever come up with? It must be really something!" Stefan said, teasing gently. "Come on, Johann. We're immortal. If there's one thing we have plenty of, it's time. I know things are busy right now - well, always - but it won't kill you or HYDRA to take a couple of hours on the beach. Sit down. Try to enjoy yourself. I promise you won't turn into dust if you do."

The last time Johann had been anywhere near a beach it was the 1940s and things were quite different- particularly on this beach, which showed no signs of barbed wire or barricades; alas, it was what he thought when he imagined a beach and it would probably be that way for the rest of his life. Fortunately, this beach was not like the one he saw in his mind- but that didn’t mean he liked it any more- of course, he eyed the entire warm, sunny and sandy scene with complete disinterest. He was here because Stefan had called him here and no other reason than the hopes of crippling these ‘resisting agents’ Stefan claimed to have apprehended. In fact he was kind of looking forward to it and honestly hadn’t expected anything out of the ordinary due to the secluded spot Stefan had picked- it was well away from the general population but still sunny and overall pleasant- which initially he paid no mind to until he got there… It was just Stefan and Johann looked puzzled. He approached his very relaxed looking right hand, wearily and as surly as always. “Well, where are they? What is going on?” he questioned, now realizing something was a little… Off and that he probably wasn’t going to like it.
