How to test your eclipse glasses:
- Find a bright light and put on your eclipse glasses.
- If the light appears extremely dim, or not at all, then your glasses are real.
- You should only be able to see the filament of the light and not its glow.
- If you can see clearly through the glasses, like a pair of eye glasses or sunglasses, the glasses are fake and shouldn’t be used.
- Eclipse glasses are meant for people, not pets. Please keep your pets safe (indoors) during this event.
