i’m probably going to either reboot or abandon this blog; i haven’t decided which yet. it’s impossible to continue writing the character the way i had before after the person whom i set up this entire ‘verse with ditched me both in RP and outside of RP, and that’s really soured my feelings for this account. i don’t know what will happen, though.

Chara completely understood the not wanting to talk to people part and they would be happy to take over that little set back. Hopefully this could cheer him up. After all, what could go wrong? It’s just basically a walk around. They weren’t careless children anymore, almost falling into the hot lands lava or slipping down waterfalls. What’s the worst that could happen?

Chara smiled big and gave his nose a happy boop with their finger before standing “Then off we go then! I hear there’s been lots of secret areas opening up over the ages. Maybe we’ll find some cool new plants on the way to the park!” They knew Asriel really enjoyed plants, maybe as much, if not more than they themself did. They offered a hand to let him up.

Your solemn expression melts into a small smile as you take their offered hand and stand up. Chara sounds so excited, and seeing them this way, grinning openly, is enough to start lifting you from the lowest of moods. When you’re back on your feet, you don’t let go of their hand. Whoops.

“Well, lead the way! Show me these secret areas and cool new plants. You’re the expert now, right?”

Tired didnt really cover this emotion chara could feel over him. A lot has been put on them both when they came of age but it seems Asriel got all the stress out of it. If only Chara could think of a way to lighten him up…

Wait! They knew just what to do! “You know…” They started gently, giving a little smile “There’s a little fair in snowdin right now. And new flowers are starting to bloom in waterfall. What if we went exploreing for a while? Like we did as kids?” Its been a ehile since they could mess around in the underground. They were sure it would cgeer him up at least a little.

“Oh?” It’s been a terribly long time since either of you have gotten the chance to just go wander around the cavern as you wish. Actually... you can’t even remember when the last time was. Huh. You consider this. 

“Well... I guess that sounds like it could be fun. I don’t really want to have to talk to anyone, but...” Perhaps you’ll get lucky and Chara will do all the talking for you.

Chara gripped his hand tightly. They knew something was wrong. “Asriel are you alright? You arn’t acting like your usual self.” They looked at him while saying this. They didnt have the best eyesight in the world. In fact nearly everything was a blur for them, but none the less they knew their way around and can tell a persons emotion through their voice. “What’s wrong?”

You don’t quite meet their gaze as you respond. “I guess I’m just tired.” A pause. You should really talk to them about it; it’d make you feel better, right? However, as you open your mouth, the words don’t seem to come. You sigh. When you speak again, your voice is soft.

“I’m just tired.”
