The Honeybees have the Phonebox

@tardizzzz

Just your basic Whovian Beekeeping blog... that's a thing, right? Okay, maybe not. But I am a newbie (New-BEE) apiarist who is making a TARDIS hive. This is a blog for that.

And both Holmeses are rather hurt by this.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate the irony of these two scenes? Because which one is the machine and which one isn’t human, really?

omg

Actually Kahn is totally human. He is a product of genetic manipulation but he is actually completely human. He and his fellow augments were launched in the SS Botany Bay in chryo stasis towards the end of the eugenics wars in 1996.

It’s rather hypnotizing.

I don’t know why I keep reblogging this. Maybe because of the wall.

Word of the Day - jimjams: extreme nervousness; jitters. at Dictionary.com For serious?! I totally thought that was British slang for pajamas! Like I can picture Clara telling the kids she nannies "Alright then, you two pop off and get on your JIMJAMS and clean your teeth!" (Because everything British is Harry Potter or Doctor Who.)

May the Fourth be with Who! As I’ve done for previous May the Fourths, I’m re-uploading an image I created a few years ago. In retrospect, I probably should have included the 4th Doctor. While no. 4 is kind of represented in the form of K9, if you’d like to see the 4th Doctor in a Star Wars homage, check out the Wanderers in the 4th Dimension’s Facebook page’s May the 4th cover art.

I actually really like Star Wars, too, it just doesn't trump Doctor Who. So I figured I'd schedule this right now (almost a year before) to post for next May.

“The Honeybees have the Phonebox” turned 1 today!

The blog. The actual TARDIS hive? We lost our colony this winter and I honestly have been crying about it even though we are not giving up! The new bees arrived on my actual birthday (April 9th. MARK YOUR CALENDARS. I expect PRESENTS next year. ;P Hee hee!) and are settling in now. We have named the new queen Queen Bee-yonce and her loyal subjects, her companions, if you will, are The Single Ladies.

We actually inherited ANOTHER hive from a friend, but it isn’t a TARDIS. Also, haven’t chosen that queen’s name yet. (Feel free to comment with your ideas!). Even the TARDIS is very very in need of sprucing! But my stupid disabilities right now... GRRRR... just not getting much done lately. Stupid vanishing spoons.
