The Heartbeat Bill Passed in Ohio

I am really disgusted and angry in the politics of my state at the moment. The controversial Heart Beat Bill was passed as of yesterday. This bill banning any kind of abortion after a heart beat is detected within 2-6 weeks after conception. This time frame being before a woman even realizes she is pregnant. Essentially banning abortion altogether.  

 This presents a lot of complications, but my biggest gripe being religion intersecting into law! Most of the backers for this bill and a large motivator being that of religion and religious belief. How dare these people feel as though they have any say in a woman’s personal choice!

 They have no qualms or concerns for a woman’s mental, financial, and personal situation when making a decision towards an abortion. They use the exception as the rule. Where women who have not gone through abortion who are happy with their choices are the majority and that “God” smiles on them for their preservation of life.

 Sex does have consequences but as I’ve said in the past till I was blue in the damn face, sex ed needs to be properly taught, birth control and preventatives need to be easily accessed and provided. Like c’mon this is all common sense folks!

 I could go on and on. I hope this shit is stopped in its tracks by being proclaimed unconstitutional as this singular move is only attempting to be heard by the red judges in the hopes of overturning Roe vs. Wade.
