I’m sorry I haven’t been so active lately, early summer holiday has been so busy Σ(*òДólll)  But now everything is settled and the real holiday comes! Time to spend more time practicing and play play play ♪♪♪

Today is Kasamatsu-senpai’s birthday!! Happy birthday to you senpai! May your birthday filled with happiness and  I hope that today is the beginning of another wonderful year for you!!! ( b*ゝ∀ó*)☆ 

Now I’m going to sleep to charge my energy for another practice tomorrow! (n*ò∀ó*)η Good night!!

KASAMATSU WEEK :: DAY TWO :: POINT GUARD

First day of Kasamatsu Week!! :D

This is my first drawing Kasamatsu xD Umm I think there is something make Kasamatsu seems strange in my drawing -,- but I dont know where the strangeness is -_-

Oh hmm, the girl beside Kasamatsu is….. my imagination xD I imagine the girl is me, ahaha xD sorry if it bothers you ._.

By the way, I afraid I can’t participate Kasamatsu Week well ._. Because from tomorrow evening until August I will go on vacation to my whole family :” So I’m so sorry if I can’t participate well X( I really really want but I don’t know if I can or not :”(

It’s just as it sounds! An entire week dedicated to our amazing point guard and captain, Kasamatsu Yukio. JULY 29th as you know, is his birthday (or if you didn’t know, then..now you do) and knowing me, you would have at least expected an entire month’s worth of nonstop appreciation (its been like a year actually tho—) for him but sadly, i was away on vacation during the first week of July. I even missed KiKasa week.

Anyway, the rules are simple. Do as you please with those 7 days; if you want to write fanfiction, then write! I’ll read and reblog all of them. Graphics are also very much encouraged because the Kasamatsu tag needs some livening up, don’t you think? Either way, I’m going to fill that tag so. Artwork is definitely wanted; I’ve seen all the Kasamatsu artists out here on the site and I love all of your guys’ work. And the most important one, appreciation. You don’t have to participate in this if you don’t want to, but do me a little favor and take some time to appreciate him because hell, he deserve it. Keep this event PG/PG-13 please. No smut fics and all of that—thank you!

Here are the days:

I’d like to believe he’s only turning 19, so I titled the last day (his birthday) as 19 Reasons Why. Basically, you’re free to do whatever graphic, write whatever fic that you want. But in my case, and some others if you want, you can list 19 reasons why Kasamatsu is your favorite character or a character that you like. You don’t have to hit 19 or you can break 19; whatever you want. It’s just a day to celebrate his birthday and appreciate his appearances in the show.

Anyway, this is my first time hosting something like this so it’s a bit???bad??but I hope a lot of people will join in on this event because hey, Kasamatsu deserves all the love he could get.

I’m looking forward to seeing what everybody has for our beloved senpai! 

….so I’ve wondered a few times before, why Kasamatsu-sempai?  Why not Kasamatsucchi?  Is it because Kise doesn’t really consider Kasamatsu and his Kaijou teammates on the same level of respect as his Teikou ones?  

And then I reread this match and it actually is already completely obvious in the canon:

It’s not that Kise doesn’t respect Kasamatsu, it’s that Kise is transforming his old way of thinking about people.  The old Kise Ryouta had two types of people: those he respected, and those he didn’t.    They either got ~cchi or they didn’t.  

Kaijou’s Kise has a captain, and he has sempai, and a team who relies on him.  Soon, he’ll have kouhai.  In other words, his manner of relating to people is no longer binary.    It’s no longer ‘people I respect’ and ‘people I don’t respect.’  He’s learning other ways of respecting people.  He’s learning other things he can respect them for: not just their skill in basketball.  Not just their ability to achieve victory.  

He calls Kasamatsu ‘sempai’ because he’s no longer the Kise Ryouta of Teikou.   

This is a really neat theory, but… As seen in the newest Kiseki no Shiai psp game, Kise actually called Kasamatsu, “Kasamatsucchi” at one point when he was asked why he didn’t and… Kasamatsu got mad xD

In the manga, he called him Kachimatsu. (I think that a manga is more accurate than a game). But that isn't proof enough to prove wrong this theory.

Q: Why did Kise only pierce his left ear?

A: Because the left piercing hurt more than expected. “The right side… um… ah… I’ll do it next time!” he said, and that was it.

I think Kasamatsu would be a yellow shirt (a captain even) but maybe this is younger Kasamatsu being a red shirt before getting his captain rank x)
