This is a moment of profound sadness. @wearedelasoul is etched into my brain among the absolute best of my earliest of memories of Hip Hop. This is the memory I’ll always have of Biz. He used to come into my Apple Store in Columbia Maryland. He was quiet and kind, a gentle giant. Working at Apple the number of entitled assholes you encounter on a regular basis is innumerable, but Biz was always gracious. Whether he was coming in for a problem or a purchase he was a nice guy. I will always remember that. Finally managing to record “The Vapors” on Yo! MTV Raps was a crowning achievement of my formative years. “Can you feel it, nothing can save ya. #NP “The Tipping Point” by @theroots This is one of my favorite Roots albums. I’ve played it on repeat ever since I bought the CD. It never gets old, and sonically it’s a complete project.
