I have legit fears of permanent taste loss. I’m hoping cause I was vaccinated and didn’t stay sick more than a week that I didn’t suffer any severe damage. But I can’t taste my favorite soda anymore and some other things aren’t as prominent as they use to be. I can still taste and smell some things, but they’re dulled and I have fears of it being permanent. I’m worried I will loose a big joy in life and that’s eating. God knows if I have other problems. I woke up this morning feeling short of breath and it lasted like a solid hour, but I tested negative for covid Sunday. I’m hoping I don’t deal with anymore of these things. Please get vaccinated this shit is scary even if the symptoms themselves seem trivial in the moment for a lot of people.

the marcy and simon comics are really out there delivering absolutely everything i have wanted to happen with these characters. ms olivia olson truly snapped

warning for spoilers if you plan to read it but truly, i mean it. on top of getting more of the usual heartwarming simon and marcy interaction, we’re getting things like… finally getting to address how simon factors in marceline’s complicated relationship with hunson, which involves marceline still considering simon to be more of a father to her than hunson was and hunson getting very resentful towards simon over this (because of course he would) while an oblivious simon encourages her to look kindly on her father (because of course he would, too)

there’s also the fact that simon starts the story going on an apology tour through all of ooo to try to make up for his actions as the ice king, because even though marcy assures him that ice king’s antics weren’t his fault since he wasn’t in control of himself through them, he still feels rightfully bothered by the troubles he has caused 

and most importantly, the plot culminates on the realization that simon can’t move past the trauma of having betty sacrifice herself for him, so they set on to try to rescue her from golb!

(+ there are cute bubbline moments and even some quality nerd bonding time between bonnibel and simon)

anyways, thank you marcy and simon comics for my life
