Fun fact: I'm not dead! (Again)

Okay, I promise I'll try to be more active on this blog again if I can I'm currently working to clean it up a bit God it feels like forever since I was here.  Here's a few things that have happened since I was here...six months ago o-o

  • I started college. COLLEGE. sdhgsaldghasdksd  
  • I had just graduated last time I was here
  • And now I've almost finished my first semester! It's so much more free time than I expected to be fair. 
  • I've gotten into role play on tumblr. I currently have a blog role playing Spock that I've used for the last few months. 
  • With that I have now caught up on Star Trek TOS
  • And started TNG
  • And completed all of Doctor Who (the new ones) and completely caught up

I'm sure there is much more BUT most of it is not coming to mind I WANT TO CATCH UP THOUGH especially with the round table I haven't seen in forever If anyone is on, come say hi! I also have Skype if you're interested!

Sea Creature that looks exactly like a rock with guts.

Pyura chilensis is a creature that not only looks like a rock, but is also completely immobile like one too. It eats by sucking in water and filtering out micro-organisms. Its blood also produces a   rare element called vanadium. 

It is born male, but becomes hermaphroditic at puberty. It also eproduces by tossing clouds of sperm and eggs into the surrounding water and hoping they knock together.

Another fun fact about this creature is that it is consumed. Locals of Chile or Peru (thats where it is found) eat it raw or in stews. They say it tastes “soapy” and "bitter"

So today I learned that Eucalyptus leaves have this chemical in them and when koalas eat the leaves the chemical makes them drunk but since koalas only eat Eucalyptus leaves they basically go through their entire lives perpetually...
