Thunderstorms

He comforts you and makes you feel warm and wanted as thunder crashes throughout the night. ↳ a/n: requests are open!
“Tonight’s gonna be a rough one! Make sure to stay inside and put the candles on because it’s going to be storming all night!” The faint, low voice on the tv says as you look out the window sighing. You hate thunderstorms.
“This is gonna be great!” Baekhyun yells, running down the stairs with a blanket wrapped around his shoulders. He looks so comfortable and fluffy with his baggy, grey sweatpants and his white tee on. “Come here baby,” He says as he jumps down onto the sofa, motioning for you to come join him inside of the fuzzy blanket. You walk over, slightly laughing at the cute boy in front of you.
He opens his arms wide and you slide down next to him, feeling him wrap the blanket around the two of you like a burrito. “Isn’t this great?” He asks, kissing your cheek. “The sound of rain in the background is so romantic..” He says, smirking as he caresses your cheek. He pulls your face closer to his and places his lips carefully onto yours when BOOM.
“Fuck!” You shout, jumping closer to Baekhyun and placing your head onto his chest. You can feel him start to laugh, so you look up as you huddle into him. “You’re scared of thunder?” He quizzes, licking his lips as he stares at you amusingly. You nod, wincing as you hear another roar of thunder. “Aw baby, it’s alright. I’m here,” He whispers, stroking your hair and rubbing his hands in circles on your back.
The feeling of his fingertips running along your skin gives you a sense of calmness and security, knowing that Baekhyun is here and that nothing can hurt you. You’ve always been terrified of thunderstorms and every stormy night that you can remember was spent alone in your room, jumping every time thunder sounded.
You can feel your body becoming relaxed, Baekhyun softly humming a song in your ear and stroking your back softly. A smile spreads across your face, thinking about how cute and comforting Baekhyun is sometimes. “What are you smiling at, weirdo?” He asks, voice hushed as he continues to massage his fingers into your skin.
“You’re just amazing,” You reply, gently kissing him. You feel him smile into the kiss as he melts into you, wrapping his arms around you and deepening the kiss. You both don’t even realize that there’s still loud thunder crashes in the background; you’re too wrapped up in each other’s embrace. “I love you so much babe.”
