Okay I know we've not interacted but we've talked about them hard so give me insight on your mind about Than and Faust (heart arrow symbol)

▓ o o c ☕  ▓           Aww yiss okay let’s do this. Thanatos and Faust – While I don’t know how well they would get along if at all since they’ve yet to interact, I chose Faust because he’s the most accepting out of all my muses, and I can see him being the counterpart to Thanatos. From what I’ve gathered, Thanatos probably has this insecurity towards being involved with a human because of deathly accidents or just the fact that he’ll be forgotten which can be a painful thing if he grows attached to them or just quite sad in general. But I think Faust, being the brave dumbdumb he is, will accept Thanatos even with the dangers he can pose. “My touch will kill you!” It’s okay, Fausty has fake limbs! “You’ll forget me!” He’ll take selfies with Thanatos every fucking day even if it’s completely useless. Faust is an incredibly positive person (ALSO NAIVE), who even though have experienced near death once and has his own ordeals, can still step up his game for Thanatos. He is certainly a giver and I see him as the life to Thanatos’ death in some manner.

Also, since we’ve decided to go with the roommate thing, I imagine it to be the fluffier part of the ship? There’ll be a lot of Fausty trying to get Than to get used to touching without his gloves on, but mostly using Faust’s prosthetic parts because skin-on-skin is a no no. Faust will probably be the initiator for the majority of things as well. Not like, sexually, but in a “let’s have fun” way because Thanatos will literally be the first person he’s ever been this close to and he’ll naturally be excited to enjoy his time with the other. There’ll be all sorts of domestic stuff since they live together and cute physical interactions just to show affection, but I think it’ll mostly be Faust helping Thanatos learn to be with somebody. BUT while everything seems well and good here, Faust is also hiding his denial. 

To say that he’s a 100% accepting of the consequences in being with Thanatos would be a lie – He’s afraid. He’s afraid of truly forgetting because that would mean everything between them never existed. His feelings - his love and happiness and even the fear itself which had been so real not existing ; not validated by reality is something which frightens him. If he ever talks about himself to Thanatos, you’ll learn just how scared he is of forgetting when he brings up the topic of his parents. I feel like this will later fuel Thanatos’ drive in helping Faust remember.

Now comes the other part. How’s Faust going to deal with Thanatos’ departure? I think it’ll be extremely difficult for both of them depending on how close they’ve grown? As much as he’d hate it, forgetting (against his will) will probably be Faust’s only comfort. I think there’ll also be a lot of bittersweet moments when he recalls vague fragments of their relationship and even mentions it briefly to Thanatos should they meet again. Lots of “we did that… but you don’t remember me…” moments from Than’s stand. I think it’ll upset Thanatos more than it would affect Faust too since he’s the only one remembering? So – from here on, the tables will probably turn and Thanatos uses all he’s learned about being with Faust to help the man remember their time together and whatnot.

Aaaand, one last bit I feel could be a possibility is Faust wanting to see Thanatos’ true form? Like, he’d know what Thanatos is by now and he’ll know about the vessel/borrowed body so I think there’ll be a point where Faust doesn’t want to feel attraction towards a person Thanatos has “borrowed” but he wants the real him no matter how awful it may be? 

There’s a lot of up and downs and back and forths to this ship but I think I can sail on it LOL.
