See, what’s happened here is that these are the four characters I most want solo franchises for and these are the four characters Joss would absolutely kill if someone gave him a green light.
Fuck I wish I hadn’t read this. This is the man who killed off Book for no real reason at all despite all of the storyline potential. HE BETTER FUCKING NOT.
I wish I could say "let's not get upset before..." but hey, let's be realistic. Maybe replace upset with organized. And pissed off.
PROJECT: PROTECT AT ALL COSTS
Because this is not just "don't hurt my babies", these guys matter. They matter in a tangible, scientifically-supported, real world way. Writers have an obligation to their characters of colour. We need more CoC, desperately. Last week. And we need these guys to stay.
Joss and the people on this project aren't immune to fan pressure (see: Phil Coulson). Hopefully they can be kept from fucking shit up.
