watching this video almost suffocated me omg, my opinion:

The part where he said “then carry a gun” was so incredibly, fucking stupid. Then he goes ahead and blames it on parenting? Okay then, let these videos send a message to parents today, to teach their kids about how the world is sensitive, more than before.

Steve Santagati is saying that if women are unhappy with how they’re treated then they should call them out, now people are calling him out but he’s not even taking anything into consideration. At this point i’m just going to give him the benefit of the doubt, and say it’s his ego talking.

People should try to understand why girls can’t even take “hello beautiful” as a compliment anymore instead of getting defensive; it’s because we’re so afraid and from the examples we’ve seen, it’s better to just not risk it than to try to be nice.

Amanda Seals' comment about why women are afraid to call people out on the spot and how responding to “hello” is an invitation to “holler” at you was spot onespecially when she explained how we’re “trying to find a better way to communicate with one another”; discussing about the situation in a proper manner rather than just shouting on the streets, creating enemies, shaming and embarrassing people.
