It’s essay writing season for tons of students!

After being a college writing tutor for over a year, I thought I would share my advice with all you awesome people on tumblr. This is how I write essays, but if you’ve got more tips, feel free to add them below.

Dumb Stuff Punx Say is a zine/visual essay I made to illustrate some of the literal things punks have said to me over the years. Some of the things said are corny, off color and sometimes quite fucked up. However, it goes to show the gradient of characters I’ve ended up coming across, befriending and defriending over the years. I wish they’d make a Pokemon Go app but so you don’t have to go outside. Like if you could just catch the Pokemon by moving the avatar in the game around.

Being a girl in this world is honestly so strange like do u know how much we miss out on because we are scared? How much of the night We don’t get to see because walking around alone is too dangerous? Do u notice the way girls walk at night, and does your heart hurt when U see them quicken their pace and lower their gaze when men walk past? Mine does
