So Call of Chernobyl is a hoot and a half. For any of you that don’t know what it is, It’s a Standalone mod thingy that combines all three STALKER games and a bunch of cut content into one game and allows you to free roam around as a member of any faction you want.

For Example: I’m currently running around as a Freedomer, but you can also side with The Military, Ecologists, Loners, Duty, Clear Sky, Bandits, Mercenaries and even Monolith.Each Faction will have different missions for you to do, mainly regarding faction territory, finding tools, or hunting mutants.

The Game is set presumably after the events of Call of Pripyat with the twist that the Monolith were able to re enable the Brain Scorcher (Which is a fully functioning environment system apparently) and are still guarding the CNPP that houses the Wish Granter (Also apparently functioning but I don’t know how yet). 

There’s plenty of cool stuff to do and if you get bored of playing as one faction you can always hop over to another, so there is a lot of replayability in the mod as well.

In conclusion: S’pretty good and you should try it out.

snorting cocaine in this mod and mixing it with a ton of other drugs has absolutely 0 drawbacks. infact, you are expected to use it (modders bring it up constantly whenever you mention unbalance or artificial difficulty) and bucketloads of weed and other drugs to survive any sort of encounter with a psi mutant. or die instantly. now that’s what I call balance, thanks trojanuck for this great experience but i think im done playing this chore of a mod

This game sure does look pretty sometimes. 

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat + SGM 2.2 all in one, and the AF3 for SGM sky fix.

Sorry console kids, you can’t play this, it’s too hard, stick with your babby Call of Duty games.
