"So my cute Lee is still sick? No excuse back to bed!"  Gai went to Lee and picked him back into his bedroom. "You stay in bed until you recovered, don't make me force you Lee. Do you want to displease me? Do you want to risk your health and youth?"

Drat that Pein. Always acting all high and mighty. As if he is some kind of God. Orochimaru gritted his teeth slightly, taking the insults without much emotion on his face. Before he could control himself and reevaluate his decisions, Orochimaru pulled back his fist and cracked his fist into Gai’s drunk face. The Sannin wasn’t going to allow Gai to disrespect him, when he actually had decent intentions this time around.  "I suggest you hold your assumption and tongue if you know what’s good for you."

"See? That didn't even hurt! Don't say you still wonder why nobody takes you seriously. The genin tell jokes about, they aren't even funny! What are you even doing here? The only reason you are important is because that spoiled brat Sasuke tries to get stronger to get his frikin revenge or something and he needs your help! Do you honestly think that you have any chance of getting his body and sharingan? He's quicker gone than you can say 'pedo'!"

"It really was, wasn’t it?" He sighed dreamily, following his teacher, and remembered all the good times they had together, wincing when he remembered the painful parts. Through thick and thin, they had stuck together, and although they didn’t spend as much time together, he was happy to see they still had that special bond. "You bet I am, I'm always ready to protect you. I learned from my mistake 3 years ago!" The thought of the first time Lee entered the chunin exams still hurt him, he failed to protect Lee there, but that brought them even closer. Because of that, he made the promise to follow Lee everywhere, even death.

"Kuma. And I’d give you my family history but none of them are ‘round anymore," She forced a small smile, feeling a tad more comfortable around him. "So you’re form Konoha huh? What’re you doin’ all the way out here?"

"My family is dead, as well. My mother died while bringing me to life and my father sacrifieced himself to protect me. But my students are like my family, actually, I adopted one of them, since his family died too. My cute little Lee is 17 now, he lives at my place since 4 years now. And I already told you, I'm here for training!"

"Sounds like a good idea!" He nodded, the idea of sharing a curry once more with him was an enticing idea. And the fact that he still wanted to spend time with him, meant a lot to the young jounin. "We really should plan to do that sometime! We hardly ever have time to do things like that these days, it’s so hectic being a ninja!"

"Yes, it is. It was way easier when you were a little genin back then. We used to spend the whole day together, didn't we? Especially when you little numbskull managed to hurt yourself again and ended up in the hospital. I was always the first one to be there!" Gai claimed proudly as he started to walk off.

"If you’re going to take that tone with me, then no. I’m not coming down. I asked a simple question. How could those twelve threaten the Hidden Leaf? It’s the biggest of all the villages in the Five Great Nations. I don’t think Konoha is under threat."

"And I would prefer if you didn’t yell about what I am in such a loud voice. I know there are other people around, and now they know too. Thank you."

"Well then. If you're not comming down, I have nothing to say to you. Besides, there is nobody else here. Farewell!" Gai would not waste time with someone like that, the quicker he would finish this, the quicker he would get home. He went over to one of the knocked out ninjas and pulled something out of the pocket of their leader. It was a scroll with a map on it, he smiled and looked torwards eastern direction. 

"As if I'd let you escape, mister!" He opened the 5th gate again, chakra bursted into the air as he walked torwards east.

"Openin’ your gates might level a couple of trees dependin’ on how far ya take it," She tilted her head, trying to remember his name. It was a little fuzzy though. "What did ya say your name was?" 

"Gai, my name is Maito Gai, the proud son of Maito Dai. And how long would I have to wait until I finally know your name?" Gai didn't care about how the lady spoke, wether it could be taken as rude or not. But hiding the name was just unpolite.

Just because you were hated because you are a jinchuuriki, no offense, and don't get it doesn't mean that the ones who try to protect their loved ones are idiots. Now either you get down there and show some respect to someoen who fought death more than often or I'll take my leave and hunt the rest of them."

Well. This made for decent entertainment, at least. Though the redhead wasn’t exactly a fan of waiting, even if there was a fight unfolding before his very eyes to keep him entertained. Still, attempting to enter the village with such a commotion going on probably wasn’t very wise; going around probably would have taken longer, and the male in green had managed to catch his attention. Could he be potential material for a new puppet? Perhaps; he hadn’t yet managed to settle on a decision one way or the other.

Before Sasori could make any moves, however, several new faces- masked faces, anyways- appeared to take away the defeated criminal. The puppet master remained silent, observing undetected- in his mind, anyways- from his perch in a nearby tree. Once the Anbu had left, he casually dropped down to the ground, not really caring whether he attracted the attention of the shinobi he had been watching.

"You know that I can feel and see your chakra while I am in the gates, right red head? There is no point in hiding!" Gai looked over to the puppeteer, a knowing smile on his lips.  "If you want to enter, youngster. I'm not stopping you. The residents are all gone and the village itself is useless. But a youthful spar wouldn't be that bad, would it? My gates are still open, I could keep them open for two or three hours." Actually he could keep them open for 4 hours, if he kept only by the 5th one, but he would not exaggerate.

"….." It was evident that Gai had way too much to drink already. But it wasn’t in Orochimaru’s nature to care about Konoha ninjas. He could only watch Gai walk away yelling about eating and drinking before turning back to come towards him once more. "What are you talking about?"

"I don't know if you fucking noticed! But I had a really bad day! And the last thing I need is an old snake or whatever talking to me as if I take him seriously! Your ninjas are shit! Fucking Sakura could beat them! Heck even a fish with no eyes could beat them! And now you come here, trying to act evil and all that shit! Nobody takes you seriously since pain attacked!"

"Oh," She was surprised, and obviously so. he couldn’t be to good, considering what he was, but he wasn’t…bad, so to speak. "What kind of trainin’ do you do then? Just push ups and junk?" Kuma got off from leaning on the tree, walking forward, closer to him. 

"Yes! After that I will open my gates and train my stamina to endure the pain. The longer I can endure them the longer I can protect my special ones. Especially my cute Lee, I failed to protect him once, it almost cost his life. I won't fail another time, though. My adorable Lee is safe!"
