"Loser Mona" - 7x18
Okay yall heres whats going on with #QueenMona this week. Since Hanna showed Mona the game a few episodes ago its obvious to say she is obsessed. She been hunting leads, setting up lairs and figuring out Arias sketchy shit. She even said herself to Hanna “youre dealing with an addict here” Mona is self-aware of her issues, she KNOWS that this game will throw her back down the rabbit hole again, bringing out the “Original A” in her. So, since she knows about the game she has tried to help the liars find out Ali’s sperm donor, give them general advice/be apart of the strategy, and of course revealing AriA to the liars.. and what did Mona get in return??? A thank you??? NO. General acceptance?? NO. A smile??? NO. What has Mona ALWAYS WANTED? More than anything in this world Mona has always wanted to be apart of the group. She wants to be a liar. She wants to be accepted by these girls. Before Ali disappeared, reunited in Junior Year, season 4 after becoming a target of A, before her fake death in season 5, after the dollhouse and post time jump.. MONA JUST WANTS TO BE LOVED BY THESE BITCHES. So, after another failed attempt of gaining their love Mona feels small, rejected and alone just like she did when she was a teenager.. which is why she put barrettes in her hair and brought out the glasses.. she feels like shes becoming Loser Mona again. I said it last week and ill say it again, Mona is not involved in this AD nonsense. Maybe she killed Charlotte (that would be SO lame. Just like when she killed Bethany) maybe she didnt.. either way I do NOT believe this last minute red herring the writers are throwing at us. Its not Mona. She may be drawn into this game again but shes not in control and shes not an AD helper.
