Twilight rested on the new bed on her side, her stomach had been giving her problems over the past few days, pain from both the pregnancy and the intense physical activity. she couldn't seem to feel her paws either.
"My love, are you alright?" he asked noticing her concern about how she was feeling.
She mumbled and sighed. A shake of her head and a visible strain on her face showed how she was. "It hurts, I-it's not birthing yet, it's too early.."
"i wish we had a lovely home for us to raise our chick, complete with an area for the two of us to simply look up at the stars and sleep together.." she smiled gently, splurging a bit, though she didn’t want to rely on the boons too much, she worked for everything she had gotten in the library, why not the same here.
He nodded as his coat turned a brilliant white for several seconds as the shadows that usually made up his form flowed out from around him, revealing a stunning white wolf with brilliant red eyes. The reason for this was all of his shadow energy was being used to construct the new building in a matter of minutes just ahead of them, it would be everything Twilight could have hoped for and more.
She stood up slowly and pressed her lips up against the wolf's lips. having seen her mate without his shadow for the first time, a bright smile on her face. "you look just as handsome like this, as without your darkness.."
she didn't look to the house, knowing he would make it perfect, she was too concerned with snuggling with her mate.

she fell to the earth, a bit unbalanced due to the long term intangibility, she looked around for a moment before laying into his side, looking out upon the field. “it is beautiful… a perfect place to raise a child… plenty of open land… woods to learn to hunt, and loving parents… we must simply build a place to live, unless you want to live under the stars..”
"While I would like nothing more it would not be conducive to keeping our young safe, you have three boons for this day… simply say your wish and I can grant it." He said with a kind smile as he nuzzled his love his form making sure she didn’t land on her belly and harm the child within.

"It only took us till Dawn’s light my love. As I’d said I would make it happen." He said as he slowly released her from inside him, her intangibility being taken by him as she slowly resided on the grass now his form resting beside her.

She dreamed of seeing him trapped, unable to help due to her own nature being demonic now, she didn’t know how it happened, but for some reason the circle of power overcame her with fear. she could do nothing but watch as he was slain in front of her over and over.
she was resting however, and that is what mattered, though it would be poor rest at best.
He continued to run, and run, and run long into the morning’s light as he emerged from the wild woods that were known to the Ponies as the Whitetail woods into a large lush field. “We are here.”

I will deliver you safely to Equestria I swear it.” And with that he left the abandoned building and broke into a run his speed enhanced by his demonic nature to surpass anything as long as his love desired that result.

He said as he kissed her as she slipped beneath the surface of the shadow his body taking more definition as she slipped downwards, the reason he needed so much magic was that while he formed physically he was basically making her intangible so that she would be unable to be harmed whilst in the dark space that was his shadow, the drain was twice as much due to needing to apply this same protection to their unborn young.

In her current state, it was unlikely that would happen. She would need frequent breaks for both water and to just rest, not that it stopped her from wanting to make it there by midnight.
"If you do not mind me taking from your inner magical reserve as I did in the old days I could increase my size and allow you to ride me… we would make better time in that manner." He offered with a smile as he continued to finish grooming her.
