shoutout to slow growers, late bloomers, people whose plans got derailed by circumstances beyond their control or their own choices, people who never had a plan to begin with, people who have had to start over when theyre too old to feel like theyre supposed to be where they are, people who cant pretend theyre built for the environment theyre in, and everyone who's not living the life they thought they would. im proud of you for making it this far and i hope you keep going until youre happy ♡

I don't want to make ““doctor’s appointments””and ““schedule a follow up.”” I want to be coaxed gently into a crate and taken to the vet.

Can I also get in on the part where the doctor patiently bears with me as I scream the entire time and then gives me some spray cheese on a tongue depressor?

  • Wrapped in several towels so that you don’t have to look at the scary thing
  • Having delicious snacks shoved into your face as fast as you can eat them while an injection ‘definitely didn’t happen’
  • Being told that you are a Brave Lady, Clever Little Man, or Sweet Baby for just sitting still
  • Getting your toenails clipped while you are here

@drakengrimm you take me to the vet. I take you to the vet. Deal?

How many stand-alone works do you own written by a single author?

take "stand-alone work" to mean books not related as a series, the series can count as one work (ie me owning all of NK Jemisin's Broken Earth Trilogy and The City We Became would count as two stand-alone works, even though it's 4 books). Owning multiple copies also only counts as 1 stand-alone work, sorry edition-hoarders

I just saw your cat and legit gasped out loud - WHAT A BEAUTIFUL KITTY!!!

As a proud cat parent this means a lot to me.

He's a mix of Siberian and Common European cat. All his siblings have long fur but he only has thick and fluffy fur with a few longer hairs sticking out.

Here is Dmitri snuggled up with his little friend Ofelia.

This is a personal project that pays tribute to Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island. I created 33 illustrations of events chosen by me in chronological order and a hypothetical cover. I had to stop because I would have made 100 more. It was really fun to make, I hope you like it.
