woah ok so it’s been more than 2 years and basially i was thinking abt the blog and then i was like “man i should probably say that i’m not dead” so uh yeah little life update:

i’m not dead

i just sorta outgrew this blog? i was on it when i was like 13-14 and it was good then but right now while i’m still into fish and dog training, i’m not as much and i don’t talk about it quite as much as cartoons (i have another blog for that). 

i’m 16 now though so that’s cool i guess.

i’ve gotten way better at art! i’m still not great but i improved a ton.  here’s a bit of what i’m doing now.

as for the animals: zoom is 16 now and he is still doing pretty good! he is half blind and deaf now but overall he’s still good. licorice is 7 now which is wild but she isn’t showing her age more than a little graying around her muzzle. tony got jaw cancer but we didn’t realize it until it was very advanced and he passed away in october. i don’t have any of the fish any more, but i do have a lovely little female betta i got a few weeks ago. her name is albedo.

yeah! that’s about all i can think of rn.

This is the girl I found at my lfs, and I like her a lot. Her name is Swiss, she is sassy and hard to take a good photo of. She's so pretty, she's kind of shiny and will probably marble.

I didn't really know when to post about this.

In case you were wondering why I haven't posted about Windsock since I got him, I have some sad news. He passed away only days after I got him. The reason I neglected to tell about this is because it was 100% my fault. I tested the water after we found him dead and found that I had a nitrite level of 5 ppm or more! I felt terrible because I didn't cycle the tank. This was roughly 2 weeks ago.

The tank is now cycled (10 ppm nitrates, 0 ppm nitrites). I may be getting a new betta soon, but I feel like that would be really disrespectful. I will check my lfs today, hopefully and maybe they will have a betta that I fall in love with.
