Let it go. You did the best you could. There’s nothing more you can do. Be at peace, forgive yourself, be at peace.
✨Eating Disorder Recovery✨
-
You will never feel ready to recover from your eating disorder, but you need to. Whether you are 1 day into your eating disorder, or 2 years. You deserve to recover, you need to recover. Think about how happy you will be in the long run. Yes, at first it will be so hard, but it will also be so worth it.
You’re beautiful.
If you needed a sign, here it is.
I felt that ❤️🌸
I’m an overthinker and it’s Okey ☺️😊
Sometimes acceptance (of your body, of your nutritional needs in recovery, whatever!) is simply acknowledging what is. No forced positivity or negativity. Just acceptance.

let’s have a recovery blog moment and remind ourselves that restricting our food intake will not improve our health, will not protect us from viruses, will not protect us from fear, will not help the world by placing less demand on it. we don’t need to be smaller because things are hard. we want to be well-fed, full of energy and connection and courage. we want to take up space and be present and demand our human rights. health may be elusive but let’s give our bodies the very best chances they can have; let’s fuel them and trust them. it’s what they deserve.
you are not wrong for wanting to eat.
you are not wrong for eating (even if you’re not hungry).
you are not wrong for making progress.
you are not wrong for wanting to feel better.
you are not wrong for gaining weight.
you are not wrong for liking yourself.
you are not wrong for eating more than others.
you are not wrong for weighing more than others.
you are not wrong for ignoring calorie labels.
you are not wrong for sleeping during the day.
you are not wrong for letting yourself heal.
your recovery is never wrong.
I'm thinking about deleting this account. I'm not recovered, but I have a busy life that is about to get a lot busier over the next few weeks and I do enjoy living in the "real" world. Over the last few weeks I have realised that I'd rather do yoga or watch a youtube video once I have some spare time than scroll through tumblr. However, the thought of deleting feels kind of weird, I'll have to think about it some more. 🙈
